Adding something to the main page (but not the main.html)

I want to add 2 boxes on each side of the upload form..I tried putting the boxes on the upload_form.html but the boxes disappear as soon as you use the upload form... how to make it work?

Again...I want to add 2 boxes ( I already integrated float codes to the css file because I already do it on the download page)

I just want to do the same thing on the main page where people upload the files.

What file do I have to mod?
