|
|
Good day,
i have this request, hopefully it's easy to do.
i want to have the control on choosing which file is set to be direct-download and which is not. so if i set FileA to be direct-download.. there is no need for waiting time or anything.. even if the user clicking the link is not registered in the site. like the one in rapidshare..
Example:
This is a picture i've uploaded to rapidshare.. you don't need to have access or premium account to see it..
LINK: http://rapidshare.com/files/114401320/dm.jpg
but this one is not direct-download so you have to click it and then wait if you are not registered or no wait if premium..

i hope i made it clear for you .... Thanks |

I'm still not decided about this feature.
If generate REAL static direct link, then we won't be able to control download number and there could be too much BW used uncontrolled.
If generate temp filelink every time, then there will too high server load when e.g. user will put 100 images on one page.
Direct Links is something we tried hard to avoid in XFS to avoid leeching.
To be discussed... |
