| I, nor are my few clients happy with the dates on the catalog listing, Is there anyway I can make it just list the files as it did before? |

emailed u old UserPublic function, just replace it in index.cgi
I use current by-date catalogue cause it was impossible to make old links SEO-friendly cause they were updating every few minutes. Date links are the same for 10-15 days thus can be well parsed by bots. |
