i was wondering why are all the download links have 12 at the begining?
e.g: www.domain.com/12KRE9F/file.ext ?
can i change it so it would become random ?
or can i change it to a specified name?
e.g: www.domain.com/files/file.ext ? |

when january finish you'll see 01 or 1 instead of 12
u can see this from the uploads Dir |

you will see 13 
This is just a simple algorithm to split files by different folders to avoid possible problems with filesystem when there will be tons of files.
Won't be such thing in mysql version. |
