dedicated or vps server from PowerChaos Company ??
ok , this is getting boring
the best place is up to you , i only can suggest that you use it on a dedicated server
but as you know , dedicated servers arent cheap
my servers are located in Scranton Pa ( 48 hours setup time)
or located in Dallas TX (48 hours setup time to )
i would suggest to take the Q9300 ( 1TB hd , 8GB ram for 165$ ) if it is only a file server (second server to download)
or the Q9550 ( 12mb Cach , 8GB ram and 1TB hd for 175$) if you use your complete website on it
the cach is helping to prevent crashing of the server that hapepnds with high mysql load (speaking of experiances with my big proxy site that even bring ad providers down)
to get a previeuw of the speed , feel free to download something of http://boosterking.com
that site is hosted on the Q9550 but the downloads are token from a Q9300 (unmetered traffic)
to get full information , please take a view at
http://getadedi.com
or by contacting me by using the contact form
Thank you

Nice sales pitch powerchoas, you forgot to mention your bandwidth figures (how much per month)....
I don't how you guys last on 2000GB bandwitdh servers and being a file host. Thats would only last me about 3-4 days.
Co location is a good idea if you make your own server up.. |

We run High End VPS and Dedicated boxes through Liquid Webs Lansing. MI datacenter.. the best bet is a dedicated box with an unmetered port, which will set you back (if you get the right amount of RAM, HD space, etc.) about $500/mo. or so.

100Tb.com is a good start.
It all depends if you going to be cheap, or want quality
Only get servers from big sites that has been in the game for a while.
And you can use webhostingtalk.com to get reviews on the different companies. |

Dont get hetzner... they are strict on abuse mails.
Also max 2-5Tb transfer before link goes to 10Mbit
i can repeat myself, 100tb.com thats 100TB traffic on a GIGABIT link for 200$ a month... and a few more and you get a 2TB drive.
They use Softlayer network in the .us |

Hmm.. thanks for letting me know that..
Any other suggestions besides 100tb? Maybe something cheaper for a beginner plan.. |

sorry , dit i forgot to say traffic ??
basic traffic is 4TB
and a option to upgrade to 10mb/s unmetered (not monitored) shared port
or to 100 mb shared unmetered port
so basicly , you start with 4TB , do you get over the 4TB then you just upgrade to a unmetered port and your fine
anyway ,feel free to take a look at http://getadedi.com for more information about them (its my site to )
