I have been messing around with file servers and I want to know if there would be any problems with this scenario which I plan to start using?
I place my main xFileSharing Pro site on Main Server 1 using Main Server IP 1. I then add 5 file servers (subdomain1.mainsite.com, subdomain2.mainsite.com, etc.) to Main Server 1 on Main Server IP 1.
8 months later my traffic gets pretty big. I then move each file server site to it's own server. Therefor the IPs change on each of the 5 file servers. How do I make sure the main site and all file servers still work if I change the IPs on each file server? |

| No problems, only I think you will need to edit FS IP manually in database. |

Thanks. I am glad to hear that I can do this.
How exactly do I edit that? |

using phpMyAdmin or any mysql client you have.
Just edit srv_ip field in Servers table. |
